On a vibrant and exciting day, the Potjiekos Competition 2024, hosted by Mortgage Max, brought together 15 estate agencies for a culinary showdown. The event was not just a competition but a celebration of community spirit and culinary talent, showcasing the best of what our local real estate industry has to offer.

Participants from various estate agencies gathered to demonstrate their skills in creating the perfect potjiekos, a traditional South African stew cooked in a cast-iron pot over an open fire. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and friendly rivalry as each team aimed to impress the judges with their unique recipes and cooking techniques.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the winner. A big congratulations to Harcourts Boet Nagel, who took home the coveted title of BEST POTJIE and a grand prize of R10,000! Their winning dish stood out for its rich flavors and perfect balance of ingredients, earning them well-deserved praise from the judges.
